@jschultzf3 @daddyshanec I completely agree with @jschultzf3 I think it’s easier to be delta neutral doing bullish and bearish positions in different symbols. Either way the delta neutral strategies are not perfectly neutral.

@daddyshanec Neutral deltas is one of those things that I personally believe sounds great in theory, but is difficult to execute in practice. You're better off picking either side imo.

The market loves to chop around. It loves to move back and forth, ebb and flow. As a premium seller, this is a great environment for you, and managing winners is one of your most potent strategies to take advantage of the bouncing around. Whether you're targeting 50% of max profit or a time based profit (10% in a day, 20% in 3 days, etc.), managing economically significant winners is a potent strategic arrow in the premium seller's quiver.

@jschultzf3 For me the difficult part is understanding the different expressions of volatility and its relationship with delta. For example a symbol can have an IVR of 10 and still be oversold.

@jschultzf3 The difficult part is finding a suitable mechanics. In options there are too many moving parts that clash with each other. Thank God there is the good Dr. Jim to guide us in this complex world.
