PES used to feel like @Konami took pride in what they produced. A “real football” simulator to beat the generic E.A garbage. They did it so well that they didn’t even have to have the official league/team licenses. How far they have fallen #efootball

Gameplay had a tough learning curve, but you had to actually play football. Work the pitch, create an opening, not spam double touch or gimmick skills and definitely no bullshit smart assist. Games didn’t have scores like basketball #efootball

Don’t think I will ever get over the death of PES. Played it since it was ISS. Spent hours on Master League, creating teams & editing kits in the PES league. The community it had was fantastic. All created because of a shared love of football… #efootball
