@CatrionaGolden Of course they are, that's why they are granted in primary because parents are thinking ahead for their children. If you have a child with an additional need you plan far into the future Very conflicted about my son with dyslexia,meets criteria I haven't requested it but worried

@CatrionaGolden There arenot enough supports for teaching dyslexic children English reading and spelling..they won’t provide the support needed to do that in Irish either..These children will be just left to fail!As teachers and parents we know this!Often Dyslexics have wider language issues too
