@prairiesmoke414 @SeismicTurtles out here in california it’s an amazing restoration plant! built for high salinity and low water, great at helping remediate soil. it’s also a great food and shelter plant for wildlife, and edible for humans too. it might be a little “boring” looking but i think it’s beautiful.

@ornithization non oomfie this is so real. the way movie and especially book driver has superb pattern recognition and memorization and difficulties in emotional processing while still longs for real meaningful connections even tho all things are against him...... 💔

too many of the reviews i saw for drive (2011) complained about driver’s affect & the pause-laden way he speaks but he Really truly just reads as autistic . it’s very interesting <—> your qualms with him are simply a skill issue in my eyes.
