Realized that avoiding failure for the majority of my life has only been stunting my growth but I’m still young enough to make mistakes and try again and again and again

This is probably my most obvious and trite thing to complain about but it's awful. I hate seeing people who are weird, who are not good at communicating, who go to these spaces for literally any reprieve get shunned because they can't perform. They are the heart of it.

The problem with people like this is that the subculture is not something you join because it applies to you in any sort of way, you need a uniform, you need to myopically wave it in everyone's faces for 2 weeks then quietly discontinue it, you need it to be trending to care.

I wish subculture still existed, I hate that the mainstream has been to vampirically latch onto subculture in desperation for any sort of substance.
