I asked Grok for reference: “Can this post clearly be read as marketing (promotion) from an objective standpoint? If yes, why?” The answer is following: Yes, from an objective standpoint, this post can clearly and unambiguously be read as marketing (promotion). It is not neutral information provision or pure factual sharing; it clearly has a promotional nature. Ritesh’s post is not merely a list of facts; it is structured with the clear intention of emphasizing Globiance’s appeal, attracting users’ interest, and prompting action. Specifically: • Strong appeal to credibility By opening with “@globiance is a group of regulated/licensed exchanges and financial institutions” (a group of regulated and licensed exchanges and financial institutions), it immediately instills the image of being “safe, legal, and trustworthy”. This is one of the most frequently used techniques in cryptocurrency project promotions: it alleviates users’ concerns (such as scams or regulatory risks) and provides immediate reassurance through classic marketing phrasing. • Actively pushing the service’s strengths The sentence “It offers centralized and decentralized exchanges for #XRC20 and other cryptocurrencies.” emphasizes that it handles both CEX and DEX, and supports the XDC Network’s token standard (#XRC20). This brings the benefits to the forefront—“convenient, multi-functional, and perfectly suited for the XDC ecosystem”—which is not a neutral explanation but rather content that sells differentiation and superiority. Including #XRC20 as a hashtag is clear targeted promotion aimed at the XDC community. • Presence of a clear Call to Action (CTA) It includes a direct “Visit: [link]” to guide users straight to the site. This is a fundamental element of marketing, designed to make readers take immediate action. In pure information sharing, a link would be optional or understated, but here it is prominently placed, with the obvious intent of driving visits, registrations, and trading. • Hashtags designed for viral spread By ending with “#GBEX #Globiance,” it makes the brand name and token (GBEX) easier to trend and search on social media, intentionally structured for the post to spread. This is not mere information sharing but a promotional technique aimed at boosting community engagement and brand awareness. • The context also clearly shows its marketing nature This post is part of a thread by Ritesh in which he consecutively promotes other XDC ecosystem projects (@XSwapProtocol, @metabloqs, @XDSeaNFT, etc.) in the same format. In other words, as a co-founder of XDC Network, it is part of promotional activities to energize the entire ecosystem. Rather than personal impressions or neutral reviews, the repeated positive introductions strongly indicate marketing intent. These elements combined make it objectively impossible to read this post as “just factual notification” or “neutral sharing.” It is clearly a marketing post aimed at making people aware of Globiance, sparking interest, and driving them to visit. In the cryptocurrency community, when a founder-level figure provides such an endorsement, the trust boost is enormous, making it even more evidently an intentional promotional effort.

I don’t think Atul ever meant to help directly from @XDCNetwork . It was merely a suggestion to the community to form a group targeting any real evidence from @globiance @Globiance_Pay

@atulkhekade The refund plan was shared on Oct 29, 2025. I followed up on March 6, but there has still been no visible progress after more than 5 months. Could you please clarify the current status? Many affected users across multiple countries are still waiting. #XDC #Globiance

--- 🇯🇵 --- @11ppm/KYC_JP#qh4p" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">teletype.in/@11ppm/KYC_JP#… --- 🇬🇧🇺🇸 --- @11ppm/KYC_en#aLkY" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">teletype.in/@11ppm/KYC_en#…

そして、Globianceの公式声明 “The issue originated on our V2 platform, operated by our Lithuanian subsidiary, UAB Globiance LT.” @Lietuvosbankas @uknf @ESMAComms #Globiance #ConsumerProtection #Transparency #Accountability #CrossBorderInvestigation #ConsumerRights #AssetsFrozen #MiCA @globiance @Oliver_LaRosa @Irina_La_Rosa

It will fade away if you say nothing!!!
🧩 Structural Reflection (Record) #Globiance has publicly stated the following: • The issue originated on the Lithuanian subsidiary’s V2 platform. • The subsidiary could not fulfill refunds independently. • Bankruptcy was a legal option but was not chosen. • Shareholders and new business earnings are being used to fund repayments. • The group as a whole is taking responsibility. • Regulators will receive aggregated information only. • Individual refund details will not be disclosed to third parties. This is not about accusations. It is about structural consistency. ⸻ 1️⃣ Why was there a global withdrawal freeze? The issue is described as being limited to the Lithuanian subsidiary. Yet what occurred was: • A worldwide withdrawal suspension • Impact affecting users globally If customer funds were truly segregated by regional legal entities, a liquidity shortfall at one subsidiary would not normally require a global freeze. A worldwide lock suggests at least one of the following: • Shared liquidity across the group • Centralized custody or backend infrastructure • A single effective liquidity pool • Functional integration despite formal corporate separation ⸻ 2️⃣ “Subsidiary problem” but “group-wide responsibility” The sequence presented is: 1. A subsidiary-level issue 2. The subsidiary cannot repay independently 3. Bankruptcy was not chosen 4. The entire group will repay This effectively reframes a subsidiary loss as a group-level obligation. If entities were genuinely independent in substance, liquidation and creditor distribution at the subsidiary level would have been a conceivable path. Instead, a group-funded voluntary repayment model was adopted. ⸻ 3️⃣ The XDC masternode structure question Another critical issue concerns the XDC masternodes reportedly built using customer funds. Were these masternodes: • Managed separately by each regional subsidiary? or • Operated centrally at the group level? If staking infrastructure and node operations were managed on a consolidated basis, that would raise further questions about whether customer assets were structurally segregated. If they were fully separated per entity, then the mechanism by which one subsidiary’s issue triggered a global freeze requires additional explanation. ⸻ 4️⃣ The significance of not choosing bankruptcy A formal insolvency process would typically involve: • Full financial disclosure • Examination of intercompany transfers • Review of asset segregation practices • Verification of liquidity positions A voluntary repayment framework, by contrast, relies primarily on internal reporting. This is not a legal conclusion. It is a structural observation. ⸻ 5️⃣ Disclosure policy The company states that regulators will receive: • The number of affected users per country • The total refund volume per jurisdiction • The progress of refunds in each country These are aggregated figures. No mention is made of external verification of individual-level refund data. ⸻ 6️⃣ The remaining structural questions Without making accusations, the following issues remain open: • Were customer funds truly segregated by legal entity? • Was liquidity shared at the group level? • Who controlled the XDC masternodes? • Were subsidiaries substantively independent? • Why did a “regional issue” result in a global freeze? This is not about emotion. It is about the alignment — or misalignment — between corporate form, liquidity structure, and operational reality. Recording this for clarity. * For transparency: this reflection was prepared with AI-assisted structuring to organize publicly available statements and examine structural consistency. #GlobianceIssue #CryptoCompliance #CorporateStructure #ConsumerProtection #XDC

🔗@Globiance is still withholding millions in client money. 🗓️Certain refunds were promised by the end of February. Where are they? Here’s what we know: Earlier this year @globiance issued a notice to Australian and Brazilian clients saying accounts would be made accessible to their $XDC balances. This is after more than 12+ months without any real platform functionality. This was a real win for all those affected globally, as two nations were singled out for imminent resolution. Jan 7, Globiance stated on X that “...all users from #Australia and #Brazil will have received their full refunds by the end of February”. That has not happened. And, there has been no clear announcement explaining why the deadline was missed. Uncomfortable truth: business is hard - most new ones never reach maturity. And, if you have not been involved in a failing business or even been a client of one, then you probably have lived either a charmed life or a sheltered existence. But regardless of how #Globiance might have ended up here, they are duty-bound to resolve, as they well know. And here in this instance, a public promise was made - a timeline was set, and people are still waiting. It’s saddening and some what incredible to watch a long-term platform built on this chain, one that many in the community backed hard, end up in this position. And now, failing to deliver on its own recovery plan. For clarity: @XDCNetwork itself does not control the business operations of entities that choose to build on it. But that’s how, historically, permissionless #DLT works. It helps solve the censorship issue that can occur in centralised systems - while keeping things super simple for encouraging democratised access. 🥲But the downside is also real. When something like this happens, the network can’t just step in and “fix it” for users. Clearly, plenty of #Xinfam, even including those actively contributing to the Network's development, are now left out-of-pocket, in tax-limbo... and imaginably many probably embarrassed and disheartened, because of this implosion. So, let's put it back where it belongs. @Oliver_LaRosa, and whoever is left of the team at #Globiance and @Globiance_Pay: 1. Are these full refunds still happening for Australian and Brazilian clients? 2. Why was there no communication when this step was not followed? 3. What is the process from here, and what should global users do right now? 💡Your business held millions in client money, you owe people answers. If you're a client, and affected, comment with your country and whether you indeed received a refund in the comments. If you want to DM us, keep it factual. However, do also check out these websites - they could be helpful. globiance.zone affdragons.com/globiancepay-c… Signing up to this Change.org petition might be a small gesture, but it could be worth something. change.org/p/justice-for-… 🤝Let's all see some meaningful progress. Thrilled to share a remarkable moment from our XDC Network Institutional Lunch at the House of Commons, London - an inspiring gathering of global leaders shaping the future of digital assets. We were honored to welcome senior representatives from some of the world’s most influential institutions - including JP Morgan, Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, Mastercard, Incore Bank, NatWest Group, Deutsche Bank, Galaxy, Cumberland, Flow Traders, B2C2, Royal London Asset Management, the Embassy of Switzerland, and many more. The room was filled with expertise, curiosity, and a shared commitment to responsible innovation. The afternoon opened with powerful remarks from Dr. Lisa Cameron, followed by a warm welcome from Lord Ranger of Northwood and Atul Khekade. We also held an emotional and meaningful tribute to our dear friend Ken “KC” Chapman, honoring his legacy with the XDC Network Impact Investing Award. Over lunch, we explored two major themes driving institutional adoption: AI, Quantum & Digital Assets with insights from Simon Barnby (Archax), Emilio Anting (Franklin Templeton), and Dr. Omri Ross (eToro). Real-world tokenization at scale, featuring the incredible Brazil case study presented by Diego Consimo. Immense gratitude to everyone who joined us at this iconic venue. The energy, collaboration, and optimism in the room showed just how far our industry has come - and how much we can build together. More to come soon.
