Clearly not prepared for live performing yet, and I noticed the tour opening gig in Nottingham on Sunday cancelled at short notice. Tough for @foggynotions

'69 Love Songs' is the Magnetic Fields' LP that is justifiably lionized as a big conceptual swing, but 1995's New Order-On-A-Fostex-4-Track 'Get Lost' is the great LP of theirs that I turn to most . A counter-factual history of indie-rock where Roxy Music replaces rock. A prayer.

I’m insanely grateful to have seen Tom Waits live. He’s played one English gig in the last 40 years. He’d not played in London for 17 years when I saw him. He said ‘l know, 17 years….but you look good!’
