When I was growing up, pubs would often be rammed until closing time (not so much during the week, but certainly at weekends). The bell for “last orders” would usually spark a rush to the bar. These days, even the most popular pubs seem to start emptying out around 8.00-9.00pm, including on Fridays and Saturdays. Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? Is there a reason for it?

One of the main issues with modern western media is the demonization of service for women. The very thought that a woman can and should devote her life to service is seen as oppression. Meanwhile male service is romanticized: Samurai, Knights, male heroes in general. There are tons of media teaching men the importance of self-discipline. While Hollywood glorifies womanly indulgence as empowering. How many movies and shows are there about how tragically romantic and thrilling cheating is. How women are justified in such a thing rather than learning to reject the incubus the same way men are urged to reject the succubus? "Empowerment" needs to go. "Aspirational" needs to take its place.

In 2004, serial rapist Akku Yadav terrorized a slum in India for over a decade, raping dozens of women, murdering at least 3 people, and walking free every time thanks to police corruption. On August 13, while appearing for a bail hearing, around 200 women (many his victims) stormed Nagpur District Court armed with kitchen knives, stones & chili powder. They threw chili in his eyes, stabbed him over 70 times, hacked off his penis with a vegetable knife, and left him dead on the courtroom floor.

When my grandmother was 99 she had a pacemaker fitted. They flew her to Wellington for the operation. Before they went the guy asked her if she wanted to be resuscitated. She said yes. The guy then asked her again, explaining that it can cause quite painful injuries. She was a completely capable woman of full mental capacity and said yes she understood and please resuscitate her if she needed it. He then asked her a third time, telling her that her quality of life might be different. At that point, my grandmother turned to my father and asked “What does he want me to say?” and Dad then intervened telling the now very defensive guy to knock it off. That kind of low level pressure happens in the health system every day.

@PronouncedHare Brother, having given CPR to multiple old people trust me you don't want it past the age of about 80. Even on the slim chance they live you will have multiple burn injuries and half your ribs broken on top of whatever caused the arrest.

Every developing economy that has industrialised in the last century. The first thing they buy with their disposable income is animal protein. Meat. Dairy. Eggs. Not quinoa. Not oat milk. Not the plant-based burger made in a laboratory by a Californian startup. Steak. Pork. Chicken. Milk. And in every single case, within a generation, their children grow taller. Their chronic disease burden shifts from deficiency-based illness to the diseases of abundance: which are primarily diseases of seed oils and inactivity, not of meat. The people arguing that we should eat like the poor populations they used to be are almost never the people who grew up in those populations. The people who actually grew up in those populations are eating steak. They can taste the difference between ideology and dinner.

I want to share an uncomfortable truth with you lovely folks. Deporting all the illegals, the foreign criminals & all foreign nationals that have arrived in (let’s say) the last 5-10 years will NOT be enough. Sure, it will give us some respite & make our communities look more like home again but… All we are doing is kicking the can down the road. Given the differences in the fertility & birth rates between native Brits & foreigners born in the UK it would only be a matter of time until we became a minority in our own homeland. If you truly want to resolve the issue forever, you would ALSO need to deport all those non natives/foreigners that were born here as well.

👨‍💻 My 21 year old ‘white’ son applied for dozens of apprenticeship jobs. I’m not just saying this, but he is truly very smart and talented. He noticed at various interview stages that companies were uninterested in him and eager to hire someone from a ‘diverse’ background, even on programmes through the NHS! Others on the call were half as smart as he was. 😵‍💫 Feeling disheartened, he decided to go to university instead. His first session was two hours long and focused again on “diversity”. He was shocked to see only a handful of white people in the room. He quickly realised he wasn’t cut out for this woke $hit, sorry my language. Fortunately, he found a job he loved through a family friend. However, as a white British person, he still faced significant challenges. 🫵 If Rupert promises a change that improves your job prospects I strongly recommend voting for him!

@FaraiMazhindu I'm curious. Do sub-saharan Africans collectively have a high enough intelligence and work ethic like the Chinese do because if they are cognitively disadvzntaged with an i.q below 90 on average, or 80 or God forbid below 70, then they are not even capable of any greatness.
