@Mrczar_ Valid. The same also applies to savings. If you’re working a 9-5 earning less than N1 million monthly, you can’t save your way out of poverty.

Unless you are lucky & stumble on something like Bitcoin when it was $1; a poor person (especially from Nigeria) cannot retail-invest himself out of poverty. You must build cashflow first, then save a lot of that cash before you can use the pile to get a shot at investing. Why? Because 10% per annum of your small $1000 is just $100; plus you have to eat and survive while you are trying to grow that money (plus do you have $1000 you can lock for one year?). Your focus should be: 1. Getting a high paying job that will give you salary you can invest 2. Getting a business that can give you profit you can invest It is the path. @Femi_OfMainland A pointless task. Money compounds with value collected over years. Asking someone young to do the math is literally impossible while they are still working a 9-5. Point of clarity, most billionaires are in their late 50s or early sixties. Young people should focus on building.

Tell me you don’t understand math and statistics without telling me you don’t understand math and statistics 🤣🤣🤣. Bill is worth roughly $150B, while Elon sits around $700B. In simple terms, if Bill 4x’s his net worth, he’s basically at Elon’s level. Now be honest, how many times do you need to multiply your net worth to hit $150B? This is the way to do the maths, not that layman route you took.

@jon_d_doe There are no heroes in poverty. Even the Bible condemns the man who can’t feed his family as worse than an infidel. A man who intends to get married should spend years planning his finances around it and building high value skills. A woman’s contribution should never matter.

Pastor Paul Enenche is 58 years old, & has been married for 31 years. I have been married for a little over half of that. But we are saying the same things when it comes to a man being the provider. And we are both providers to our respective families. Telling you that, if your wife earns N1m, and you earn N100k, and that you should give her N50k from it, is wisdom that many of you have failed to see the depth of its meaning & importance. Is it 50k that would truly feed the wife, kids and handle the expenses? The answer is no. What he's saying is that you as the man should not feel entitled to your wife's money. And that just because she's making way more than you're making, then you should relax and say she should take over from you as the provider. He mentioned that giving your wife half of what you earn, despite her earning more, shows that you care. And it shows that if you have more, you'd give. Your wife will respect you better than the wife of a man who feels entitled to her money. He's speaking wisdom. You're the one that doesn't want to think, neither do you really have a full grasp of his message, even if you're a married man. Lastly, there would surely be some imbalance or friction in a marriage where the wife earns more. But a wise husband that is not greedy, will retain his position as the head of his home, for a much longer time, while he works harder to bridge the gap. Not feel relaxed because his wife is always stepping into his roles and responsibilities for him. End.
