why has no lending market explored the idea of making the calculation of interest charged be dependent on the LTV of a loan
the riskier a loan, the higher the interest the borrower pays

Iran markets are absolutely ON FIRE on Polymarket right now.
Khamenei-related markets are dominating the entire platform today. "Khamenei out as Supreme Leader by Feb 28?" alone pulled $2.5M in volume, with $1.3M on YES and $1.2M on NO. The March 31 deadline variant added another $1.5M. Combined, Khamenei markets are eating up the majority of all Iran-related trading activity.
Trade size distribution shows the bulk of activity sits in the $100-$500 range (~4,500 trades), meaning this isn't just whale games — retail is heavily involved and driving the action.
What's wild is the volatility. Price swings of +- 20 cents are happening within just a couple of minutes - this is extreme for prediction markets. If you're not watching these charts in real-time, you're missing moves that look more like crypto leverage trades than binary event contracts.
Iran is the theme of the day, and Khamenei is the centerpiece.
