End of the season, time to update our record board. We have 5 that needed replaced. 3 from this season and one from last season.

I don’t take pictures with athletes very often. Coach Dismukes had to talk me in to this one. L-R Coach Dismukes, Kylan Green, Akeelan Dowell, Marlon Beverly, Omar Mims, me. I’m humbled they wanted me in it.

3A STATE CHAMPION - 200 m. - 21.46 - OMAR MIMS 🔥🥇🔥

Junior Omar Mims - 2nd Place - 3A State Championship in the 100 - 10.64! 🔥🔥

5th Place medal for our 4x100 relay team. The first time ever getting a medal in the 4x100 at the State Track Meet! Team - Senior Kylan Green, Junior Akeelan Dowell, Junior Marlon Beverly & Junior Omar Mims!

On Championship day we wear the stripes! First race of the day for us. Sophomore Brayden Kloeppel - 3200 - 9:27.63. Great job, Brayden!

Omar Mims has qualified for the finals in the 200 and the fastest time going into tomorrow!! 🔥🥇

Dylan Ybarra just qualified for the finals in the 1600. 4:13.89 is the 8th best time today! 🔥

Omar Mims broke his own school record in the 100 - 10.54. He has the fastest time going into the finals tomorrow! 🔥🥇

4x100 team qualified for the State finals tomorrow with the 3rd best time of 41.72.

The team is primed and ready for tomorrow's prelims. The fifteen athletes in this picture will represent OTHS in nine of the twelve running events. #BusyFriday #BadBoys

Our boys are off to the State Track meet! The meet starts tomorrow at approximately 2:20. We are competing in the following events - 4x800 4x100 3200 100 800 4x200 300 Hurdles 1600 200 Go Panthers!!! 🥇

Dylan Ybarra qualifies in a 2nd event...the 1600m run (4.24.44)! Eli Greenstreet didn't qualify but he earned points for the team with his 5th place finish (4:33.04)!

Another win for Omar Mims! This time it was the 200m (21.43) and a State Qualifier!

An unexpected 2nd place finish for Connor Harper (40.17) in the 300m hurdles qualifies him for the State Meet!

Now the 4x200m relay has qualified for State (1:29.59)! Congratulations, Marlon Beverly, Lucas Faver, Akeelan Dowell, and AJ Doss!

Another state qualifier! Congratulations, Zach Thoman! Winner of the 800m run (1:54.95)!

Two more State qualifiers! Dylan Ybarra (9:15.42) and Brayden Kloeppel (9:27.88) go 1-2 in the 3200m run!
