Today we ran the first out of three sessions in "Feminist Voices about Ecological Issues in HCI" virtual workshop at @acm_chi 🌱 From personal meaning-making, to intersectional critique of technology, to collective dreaming of ecofeminist futures; what a fantastic morning! 👩‍🌾🤖🌍

There is no society without technology & there is no technology without society. It’s all socio-technical. That’s basically the core argument of much of the social sciences and humanities, which is still not understood by most computing, design and engineering programs.
