They really don't appreciate what they are doing. The masculine youth are going to reform western society, with or without Christianity. The church can be a major asset in doing this, a source of strength, support, and an organizing nexus. Most men on the right WANT it to play this role. But if the church instead becomes an impediment to necessary (existential) social and cultural reforms, and attempts to shame and stop young men from fixing things... it will be discarded or dismissed like every other rotting institution. Clueless moral lectures from closeted cucks and cowards, or any other general attempts to shame or control men into making humiliating and self-defeating choices just doesn't work anymore. If it's a choice between Donald Trump vitality and Michael Pence "principles," they are going to choose the former. Masculine Christian men already see this which is why they are working so hard to take back the faith. They instinctually grasp the paradigm in the next decade will be "does this work? does this fix things?" - not "is this wrong or mean?" This is a time of great change and challenges. Adapt and be useful, or disappear.

What's really remarkable is these people have no idea how fucked up they are. This could be excused as immaturity for a girl in her early 20s, but this woman is easily in her 30s if not early 40s. Does she actually want to get into a relationship with someone? Perhaps this is what she tells herself, but her actions indicate the complete opposite. This is textbook self-sabotage, concealed by a ego-protective layer of entitlement and narcissism. But the problem isn't this particular woman, who is personally irrelevant, but that her hair-trigger dismissiveness is endemic in dating today. I am not going to say, for instance, that this guy's texting was perfect. The commentator gets this wrong. He became a bit passive and lame when it came to setting up the date, and probably should have told her the time that evening or at least said he'd give her it in the AM (show some direction). But even still his texting wasn't BAD. He was in contact and setting things up. Especially considering she had a date with him previously and liked him, it was not nearly enough to trigger blowing things up. And yet she did, and consider what this flippancy does to people. This guy put himself out there, was getting great responses, thinking things were going someplace and then BOOM it's over. Usually the mistake is so subtle that they can't even figure out what they did. Time, energy, and usually money are all wasted, and they start to feel like the entire ordeal of dating isn't worth it. Indeed, they start to hate the opposite sex. It's one thing for a connection to fade or for an incompatibility to emerge after a few dates. People can usually both feel or at least understand it's not going anywhere. Even if the guy would have liked things to keep going, he can see the signs she's pulling back, because she's less responsive or engaged. It's rarely one error but a sequence of them. If it's a pattern he can self-reflect and assess. But this immediate vacillation from enthusiasm to ghosting or ending things is a major morale killer. It encourages people to invest less and less in their dates and to be more emotionally closed and transactional, which creates a bad-faith feedback cycle. This is why so many people aren't bothering anymore. In order to succeed in dating today you need to have the stamina and perspective to get through dating people like these women, and in order to form healthy relationships you need to have the integrity to not become a psychopath yourself in response to their mind games, and continue extending good faith to each new person in order to reveal who they are. Prior generations, including my own, never had to deal with anything at this scale. It's a collapse in trust akin to going from a Swiss village to Mumbai. Which is why cultivating resilience and discernment is as important if not more so than learning how to create attraction. Modern dating is a battle of emotional and spiritual attrition. You can still definitely succeed, but it takes thick skin. To survive sifting through the trash, sensitive young men must develop antibodies.
