I found this handsome cat trinket on the side of the road when I went out walking on the weekend. That means something auspicious for my Latin exam next week, doesn't it?

For example, I added classics people to my "Classics - all" list as I came across them. It's now about 1100 accounts, but I can't see the membership in the downloaded data, so I may need to manually copy the list.

Any #ClassicsTwitter people contemplating life after Twitter, remember you can download an archive of (most of) your twitter content. Many of you have put a lot of effort into your tweets over a long time, so it would be good to keep a copy not owned by one erratic person.

@EggmeatGentle @GoingMedieval They've also had a massive influx from this site in the past week, so server admins have had a lot of work scaling things up. One Aus server has been down a few times lately for that reason.

I tried signing up for Mastodon or whatever but all the servers my mates are in aren't taking people, and it seems to me this is not an adequate replacement! Gonna have to start posting medieval history facts above mediocre selfies or something on insta.
