Full time. Geelong by 30 points. Unfortunately in a prelim you need a lot to go right. I thought we battled well for the most part, no problem with the fight of the side. But the Cats were awesome when they got going, and torched us on transition, and out of the middle. Not for the first time this year, it was fairly obvious that we need an extra something in the midfield. Here's hoping that gets sorted in the off-season. Besides all that, there's a bit of luck, and then there's the umpiring, but I think it's fair to say Geelong were indeed the better team on the night. Season over, and it's a bitter pill, but there's something about this Hawthorn group. Made prelim and went deeper into finals than last year; everything appears to be on schedule.
