@RussOnPolitics The Israeli military is stretched very, very thin right now. This evening a battalion was moved from Lebanon to the West Bank to get the situation under control.

The Israeli government needs to get this deadly vigilantism under control. Right now. Netanyahu could stop this overnight if he wanted to.
Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib@afalkhatib

The level of Israeli settler terrorism in the West Bank over the past couple of days, not to mention the horrific months-long patterns, trends, and upward trajectory, has surpassed any known boundaries of norms that we’ve ever witnessed in the Israel and Palestine conflict. Recently, a Jewish settler was killed in a car crash. However, through the power of manipulation and lies by settler leaders, ministers, and Israeli government officials, his death was turned into a massive rallying cry for a thousand-plus settler terrorists to engage in caveman-like behavior, attacking any and every Palestinian they see, burning dozens of Palestinian villages, destroying homes, cars, beating Palestinians up, and completely ignoring the fact that the Islamic Republic of Iran is raining death and destruction upon both Israelis and Palestinians using its ballistic missiles. Let there be no mistake about this terror: it is fully protected and enabled by the IDF (Israeli military); it is fully enabled, supported, and encouraged by the Israeli government; it is fully ignored and sidelined by large swaths of the “pro-Israel” community who choose, yes, actually choose, to remain silent about violence and terror from Israelis and radicalized Americans from New Jersey and Brooklyn. At some point, there have to be red lines within the pro-Israel community to say not in our name; at some point, Israel’s legitimate security needs must be separated from fascist terrorists who are the worst representation of extremist religious supremacy acting with impunity and without any fear of consequences. At some point, if you don’t want terms like ethnic cleansing, apartheid, and Judeo-fascism to be used to describe what’s happening in the West Bank, then you need to actually confront the agents of chaos, death, and instability who are acting against the interests of Israel, the U.S., the region, and any decent human being wishing to witness peace between Israelis and Palestinians. Peace requires a hell of a lot more than calling out Islamist terrorism – enough is enough! Stop killing, besieging, terrorizing, attacking, burning, and seeking to ethnically cleanse harmless civilians going about their lives in Palestinian villages and cities.

@estherzelda0514 I think the army is just stretched very, very thin. And I tragically awful wild West mentality has taken hold in the West Bank. None of the people these settlers are going after are innocents. It’s one provocation after another on both sides.

@estherzelda0514 The Time of Israel reported a few hours ago that a battalion is being moved from Lebanon to the West Bank to address this. I don’t think the government is as evil as we sometimes fear.

I am a Zionist. I am often in favor of deterrent strikes and real politick that the chattering classes would find morally abhorrent. But the increasing settler violence in the West Bank is inexcusable. This is terrorism, plain and simple. It is ethnic-based intolerance, and every bit as unacceptable as hiding rockets in hospitals and launching them at Israeli civilians from preschools. Shame on Netanyahu for allowing this to foment.

@Evabrownies420 @JakeOlson61 You think you get a full view of someone’s life based on an overhead conversation on a plane? In my experience, many people’s lives are differ from the surface presentation, which is sort of the point of the post, but the OP doesn’t extend that logic the girl in front of him.

This past August, we were flying cross‑country with our 8‑month‑old son after his sixth round of chemo. His stomach hurt, his little body was exhausted, and he kept letting out that soft, broken whine babies make when they’re uncomfortable but trying so hard to settle. Not screaming. Not throwing a fit. Just hurting in the only way he knew how. In front of us was a family taking their daughter to SMU’s freshman welcome week. Their biggest stress was how she was going to fit all her clothes in her dorm room — and she was the one who kept turning around. Every few minutes, this privileged freshman would glare at my wife like our son was ruining her trip and her wardrobe planning. It lasted maybe 30 minutes before he fell asleep. But the way those looks made my wife feel… man. I’ll be honest — I was praying she got a nightmare roommate who “borrowed” every outfit she brought. That flight reminded me of something important: you never know what that baby is going through, you never know what those parents are carrying, and you never know what that tiny cry is coming from. So yeah, maybe a baby whining on a plane is annoying. But sometimes that sound is coming from a kid fighting battles you can’t see — and parents doing everything they can just to make it through the day. A little grace goes a long way.
Laura Loomer@LauraLoomer

Is there anything worse than a crying baby on a plane? I wish parents would control their children. It’s so disruptive. I refuse to believe a baby cries for 10 hours. At some point this is just bad parenting, right?

@StellaEscoTV The real story is that law and order is needed. If that isn’t possible right now. Jews should stay out of Area A and B, so as not to be a distraction from the very serious wars their countrymen in uniform are fighting.

Let’s tell the full story here. Just this Shabbat - 18-year-old Yehuda Shmuel Sherman was killed in Samaria. Yehuda was on security patrol when a terrorist rammed his car into his ATV. The terrorist got away and Yehuda’s brother was injured. Now here are some stats from 2025: Thousands of attacks on Jews in Judea and Samaria- ranging from shootings and stabbings to car rammings and explosive devices. Compared to 120 attacks by Jews. What’s the real story here ?

The Israeli settlers who are terrorizing Palestinians in the West Bank must be held accountable. They are extremists who do not reflect the majority of Israeli society, and their crimes inflame regional volatility and endanger Palestinians and Israelis alike. jpost.com/israel-news/de…

Yes, this is indeed the "Israeli reality" today. It's good that J-Post acknowledges it: permanent lack of citizenship for millions of people. I'd call it "apartheid" but it is actually quite worse than what apartheid was like in South Africa

This is disgusting. While Israeli soldiers are risking their lives in Lebanon and over Iran, these thugs are taking advantage to attack random Palestinians in the West Bank. The reality is a sizeable minority of the coalition support this Jewish terrorism and the rest don't care enough to do anything about it.

The implications of this phenomenon — spiralling violence, terror and counter-terror, the subordination of the army and state institutions to domestic terror, the importation of the practice into Israel proper — are so grave that we forget just how awful this thing is on its own.

What kind of hateful bigot gets up in the middle of a war when ballistic missiles are flying and says ‘I have an idea! Let’s go burn homes and cars of Palestinians’ WTF? These people are disgusting, this is terrorism, and I hope they rot in prison.

HORRIFIC: Israeli settlers are carrying out a pogrom right now in the village of Jalud in the West Bank, setting homes and cars on fire and injuring three people. This is the third time they have attacked the village tonight.

I’ve seen literally 20 separate videos of the strike on Dimona a few hours ago. We know all casualties and damage in Israel. UAE restricts a little more but info still available. We have very accurate information, it just doesn’t fit the doom and gloom narrative some prefer.

@Cernovich I live in Jerusalem. Today was the longest stretch without a siren since the start of the war. Yesterday and Thursday night were very intense days (# of times sirens sent us to our safe room). I am thinking the activity of Thursday/Friday might be of a last stand. We’ll see.

We can’t get accurate information on bomb attacks Iran has made as the UAE and Israel censor. The US has banned satellite companies from updating imagery. We have no idea how the war is going. We don’t have any information except the press releases from the government.

Basically every major development in the Iran War has vindicated Trump’s decision to strike. 1) Overwhelming current disparity in traditional military capability = now is a good time to strike, we can destroy their capabilities with limited losses of personnel/material 2) Iran flings ballistics and drones at a nearly a dozen non-combatant neighbors = they are crazy and can’t be trusted with nukes 3) Iran opens negotiations with Witkoff with “we have enough 60% enriched material for 11 bombs and we will not give you anything at the negotiating table that you couldn’t achieve militarily” = diplomacy would not have solved the problem 4) Iran fires ballistics at Diego Garcia = they were not far from having ICBMs that could hit the Eastern Seaboard The case for hitting Iran is STRONGER than it was for ISIS!
