@Chris66092274 Happens to a lot of us at some point. Mine started going downhill when I hit 50 😩 You’ll be cleaning that window at the end of the job for 12.78 minutes getting that paint off the glass. Only to realise it’s on you glasses lens 😂

So, it’s come to this, first day wearing my gigs on the job. Not permanently just for detailing bits. I can only apologise massively to all my previous clients, I will touch up any poor cutting in FOC. 🤓 #noshame

@ourdecorator @Biggscarpentry @sospainter @Festool_GB @MirkaUK There are no permanently wired alternatives, but with the new, improved Plug-It, the problem should be eliminated or at least lessened. Of course that relies on the socket in the sander not already being damaged

Does anyone out there know how to hardwire the @Festool_GB RTS and wouldn’t mind telling me how to do it? Fed up to the back teeth of the poxy Plug-It cable failing 😡 Seriously considering swapping totally over to @MirkaUK

@ourdecorator @Biggscarpentry @sospainter @Festool_GB @MirkaUK It's definitely predominantly a vibration thing, and that's why it disproportionally affects our painting and decorating colleagues as their sanders see a lot of continuous use. It's also why the Vecturo now has a permanent cable; when it first shipped, it was a Plug-It tool too

@sospainter @ourdecorator @Festool_GB @MirkaUK Keep reading about how crap plug its are 🤔 I've only ever had one break in all the years I've been using Festool. That was on my of1010 router, one of the pins broke off and stayed in the router. Maybe it's a sander thing ? I've only got the Rotex 150 and no problems so far🤞

@flextoolsuk Thank you sir, but the RTS is a 81x133mm pad. Not a 150mm. My @MirkaUK Ceros is 150mm and that is awesomeness!
