@SophiaNarwitz As a therapist who’s had shit therapists, I AGREE 1000%. It took me 3 years into my therapy career to find a therapist that was trauma informed, anti-oppressive and isn’t all the isms. If anyone is looking for a therapist and lives in Mi, and dm me. I have a referral guide

It's almost unbelievable how hard it is to find an actually good therapist. So many enter the field who just... suck. They absolutely suck. I currently see someone twice weekly to help manage trauma as well as the uglier sides of autism, and it's straight up absurd how long it took me to find someone who is actually good at their job. Let alone someone who doesn't suggest starting 500 different meds every other week because they are incentivized to do so. The entire industry needs a hard reset. Especially as it is now becoming even more massive and corporatized.
