Why are Republicans “obsessed” with defining what a woman is? It is because definitions set the boundaries of what a word, rule, or policy includes. When the definition changes, those boundaries change too. Meaning that women’s rights will be at risk if we do not define who we are correctly.

At this point, if you don't support mandating voter ID and proof-of-citizenship to vote, I will just assume that you're in favor of illegal aliens voting and foreign adversaries compromising our elections.

Without a clear definition, people may use the same word to mean different things, causing confusion, conflict, bad decisions, and rules that can be interpreted or enforced inconsistently.
