@FortuneMMXM Look, someone can give you a system that works over a year for example. But you take 2 losses and lose your head, this was me. You have to trade the system over a large enough dataset. You have to shift your identity in order to overcome previous conditioning

Had a busy couple of weeks trying to complete my research into #footballindex although GC keep declining FOI on Index Labs application so clearly hiding something. However what GC did get right, eventually, was the definition of the #footballindex product, their KC gave opinion..

@DiegoBTrades The justified approach is if you’re system has a track record of small 1-3 losses in a row/cluster. If it shows a high probability of 3+ loss streaks then there really is no point. Size off of you’re data

I have 5 fresh 50 k accounts with lucid do I trade them risking $500 per trade which means I have 4 trades before blown and be ultra aggressive I’ve never tried this approach but I feel as though most of these guys printing huge months also trade with heavy size

If you’re trading a system and you understand the probabilities & expectancy of that system, all you need to do is execute as planned. You are the casino in a sense, you understand you will lose some days but over a long enough dataset you will win. A trader knows this.

Over the past 40 days, I’ve been deep in code, nonstop, exploring what’s now possible with coding-focused LLMs and agentic AI orchestration. Before going full-time into trading in March 2020, I had around 12 years of professional software development experience. Between 2020 and 2024, I made several attempts to step back in, but it always felt like a grind, too much boilerplate, too much mundane repetition - whilst balancing trading. The last month or so has been different. I’ve been putting in 12+ hour days without noticing where the time goes. Coding and learning dominate my days, and I’ve built more in a few weeks than I managed in several previous years combined. These tools are extraordinarily powerful and honestly addictive. There’s no reason not to fully leverage them across multiple domains and verticals. For those newer to software development, the edge is shifting. It’s becoming less about reading every line of code and more about understanding systems, how software fits together end to end. If you’re early in the journey, focus on fundamentals: frontend to backend, distributed systems, services, security, DevOps, and deployment. Add in agentic, multi-model RAG (LangChain, LangGraph, vectors etc..), and deeply understand the problem domain you’re solving, and you can spin up remarkably capable applications. Phenomenal times we’re living in and my passion for building is back. So addictive, in fact, that it’s time to park day trading, shift to HTF swings only and grasp this opportunity infront of us. @jtrader I agree, you always have thoughts to the contrary like “the reversal looks unlikely, not sure I should take” but if it’s a purely systematic approach and it ticks every box then you take it minus your ego.

Repeat after me: If the system says buy, I obey. If the system says short, I obey. If the system says no trade, I obey. The system is the master, and I am merely an instrument for it to manifest. I am a slave to its discipline Obedience is the path to freedom.

when you finally turn profitable, trading will be the most boring part of your life. i'm at the charts for 90 mins a day, 3-4 days a week, and do nothing 90% of the time literally just staring at the charts and observing. if there's an A+ setup i take it, if not i come back the next day it's just business. no emotions involved.

@Topstep I had a live limit in, should have filled and would have won. Yet the platform went down + could not do anything. Came back to fill my order and hit SL. Whats your plan to reimburse traders? This is not a game…

The reason dissatisfaction plagues you is because your entire life is just an amalgamation of other peoples ideas and expectations of who THEY THINK you should be You have been conditioned your whole life to be someone other people think you should be, you have absorbed all their ideas into your identity and are in a back and forth battle of “I must do this for X reason because others will think of me in Y way” but this is the biggest bullshit, your life should not be a depressing spiral of filling void with potential future outcomes and chasing validation. YOU SHOULD GO ALL IN ON YOURSELF, Who are you? As a person, beyond all the layers that you’ve adopted to your identity, stop thinking of WHAT YOU SHOULD DO and just relax, go deep into relaxation and see WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WANT TO DO? Build something beautiful? Become Successful, Go on an Adventure, Spend time with others, Devote yourself to God, Explore the darkness. WHAT IS IT? It doesn’t matter what it is, does it feel AUTHENTIC to you at your core? The only thing your soul is yearning for is to allow the full expression of your unique potential as an Individual to be expressed fully and authentically All people who made ripples throughout all of history, prominent figures that shaped culture, thinking, behaviour had this in common, every single memorable figure whether good or evil were acting from this state of expressing themselves wholly for who they were The reason for this is because you are now exploring unexplored territories of God’s mind, there has never BEEN A YOU before, you are expressing the potentiality of Gods desire to create through your BEING, the ultimate desire of creation is for it to KNOW ITSELF and the best way to know something is to DIRECTLY EXPERIENCE You aren’t meant to follow a logical framework or imitate someone else you only have to BE WHO YOU TRULY ARE. This can be frightening because now there isn’t really a way to compare yourself, your progress or evolution as a being because no one has ever lived as YOU before, this is where SURRENDER plays a huge role, where you can surrender all previous ideas and attachments to your conditioning and ideas about who you thought you were Once one is able to surrender themselves to allow the death of their conditioned identity, they will begin to see the core of the beingness, the Truth of who they are. From this Raw state of existence one can now move through life without being affected from the previous karmas of linearity and move forward spontaneously, one gets access to their intuition which is the divine guiding power. In this state your intuition will TELL YOU exactly what it is you WANT AND NEED to do, it is an absolute KNOWINGNESS and resonance with the next actions you will take. With that surrender comes back into play where you must learn how to act from a detached POV, where you must follow your intuition with no expectation of what will happen whether it be good or not, though after unwinding life through intuitive being you will see all the pieces put together the good and the bad, leading you somewhere more glorious than your human mind could imagine and most importantly you can now KNOW that you are truly free and can act in accordance with what is the highest truth to you, YOU CAN MOVE FORWARDS KNOWING YOU’RE FULFILLING THE DESIRE OF GOD THE DESIRE FOR GOD TO EXPERIENCE YOU, TO MANIFEST THE UNKNOWN POTENTIALITIES OF CONSCIOUSNESS WHICH YOU WILL MAKE INTO ACTUALITIES THROUGH THIS AUTHENTIC BEING OF WHO YOU REALLY ARE GOD SPEED MY FRIENDS

You want the truth? My breakthrough didn’t come from a new strategy. It came from finally admitting that the problem wasn’t the market. It was me. My lack of patience. My addiction to dopamine. My refusal to sit on my hands. When I fixed that — the profits followed.
