I usually don't do this, but I will. You have three wives. If someone asks you how many wives you have, will you tell the person that your wife isn't good in bed or that you have three wives? Tinubu was asked a simple question about why people don't trust the government with their taxes. He simply has to explain how effectively he has utilized the taxes paid and how transparent his government has been. Nobody asked him how simplified the tax law is or anything. It was a question related to trust. He goofed it. It's either that you are saying he understood it but decided to be mischievous because he has achieved nothing and we no longer see financial reports and budget performance or he does not understand the question. Which one clown?

My dad died when I was 20. My uncle took over the logistics company. First thing he said: “You’re too young. Go do deliveries. Real business is for men.” So I did deliveries for 4 years. 12-hour days. Rain, heat, 3 AM runs. Meanwhile my cousin got the office job. AC, laptop, “operations manager” on his LinkedIn. What they didn’t know: I memorized every route, every client, every rate. I rebuilt our dispatch sheet at night because their Excel was a mess. Drivers trusted me more than my uncle. I was the one fixing late shipments at 2 AM. One day DHL comes for a partnership meeting. Uncle and cousin sit in suits. I’m in my delivery uniform, unloading a truck in the back. DHL guy: “Who handles route optimization and client retention?” Uncle: “I do.” DHL guy: “Then why does your churn rate show 40% on routes you ‘handle’?” They turn to me. “32% savings on fuel last year. We dropped 12 bad clients. Re-negotiated contracts with 4 suppliers. All under my name in the system.” DHL: “We only work with the person who actually runs it.” Here’s the kicker: Dad left me 51% in the will. Uncle “lost” the paperwork. I found the original in dad’s old locker. I called a board meeting. Bought out my uncle’s 49% with an investor loan using the warehouse as collateral. He tried to sue. Lost. Last month he called asking for a “consultant” role. I told him we’re fully automated now. No consultants needed.

“Dear former President Goodluck Jonathan, the crown and all the respect people have for you, it seems you don’t like it anymore? If you ever contest for president, Mr Peter Obi will definitely win you, even here in the Niger Delta. It’s better you support the right ticket 'OK'. I’m a Niger Delta woman, you are a Niger Delta man, but you will løse the election.” — Woman speaks to former President Goodluck Jonathan

Nigeria politicians/business men, always like to quote Naira to make it look like they started poor. Even Dangote was said to start “humble” at N500k lmao. In 1980 official FX rate ₦1 = $1.80 So ₦20,000 × $1.80 = $36,000 At a rough black-market rate of about ₦0.90 per $1 That is ₦20,000 = $22,000 So depending on which rate you use, ₦20,000 in 1980 could have been worth somewhere around $22,000–$36,000 USD. He had access to that much money. There is nothing like humble beginnings here. That was real money. If you give someone 20k dollars today too they would’ve built a successful business too.
