Honestly how can you not run Fact To File. The ground looks perfect, yes it’s slightly quick but it’s safe and raining again. He’s nine, form on all ground, what you saving him for, madness. It’s going to be much quicker at Aintree and Punchestown.

@JamesOnTheSteel I agree with regards he should be at the fest but hardly an ideal prep. Ten months off the track having been brought down when last seen, tough enough race on heavy ground return, then go up against peak Fact To File or GW in a Ryanair. If those two don’t run, he will imo.

Trick may have been missed by not sticking Better Days Ahead in a Pertemps qualifier. Have a spin in the Final and then go to the Grand National. Nice run in the Boyne Hurdle. A Martin Pipe winner and has a hurdles mark of 145.

@SziIlar He must be decent for them to send SLH & Ballyfad to the turners. Jack thinks he’s a serious horse and he hasn’t had the chance to run in a decent race

🏇 Per @BHAHorseracing, it is worth noting the race conditions for Cheltenham Festival handicaps are as follows: - A minimum of 5 runs over hurdles for ANY horse (novice or non-novice) to run in non-novice handicap hurdles. - A minimum of 4 runs over fences for ANY horse (novice or non-novice) to run in non-novice handicap chases. - A minimum of 3 hurdle runs for juveniles to run in Fred Winter. - A minimum of 3 chase runs for Novices to run in National Hunt Chase or Jack Richards.

@WWWoodzy92 Agree Teahupoo better over further but hoping the mare can be too. Usually takes a very good one to win Martin Pipe, and she bolted up! Still only a 5 YO so plenty of time to improve, wouldn't need much more to be seriously involved in a Stayers Hurdle against more exposed horses
