Just curious.. is my studio the only one who has families who can’t think for themselves? Mmm.. sally isn’t doing it so we won’t do it either. 😑

Can I just say that I’ve been in the “done club” for two weeks now and this has been my finest two weeks of the year. Push though, teachers. You got this!

Y’all I can ALMOST see the light at the end of the tunnel. Three more days, four more shows, and I am DONE! Now to get through the longest three days of the year..

@dancestudi0prob If they’re like my kids, they don’t come to class. Too many other things going on. Dance is at the bottom of their priority list but they still insist on competing. If I don’t make it to June, I’m going to literally die. Literally.

Why do certain kids just ALWAYS flop onstage? It’s so annoying. We go over the same things repeatedly, we try different approaches, we change up skills.... they still flop. It’s infuriating. How do you not know choreography that you learned TWO YEARS AGO?

If the dancers do good, it’s on them. If the dancers do bad, it’s on the coaches. Funny how that works...

One of these days, we are going to realize that dance is not the most important thing in the world. Why do we stress out so much over it? It is what it is. Life goes on.

@TheDanceLife45 You took the words RIGHT out of my mouth. I. Need. A. Break. After the recital, I am legit going to deactivate all of my social media accounts for a couple weeks and possibly turn off my phone.

I feel like I have been on nonstop crisis reaction mode this entire season. Something goes wrong last minute, I react, I fix it, the next thing goes wrong. I don't think I've been able to take a deep breath since Feb of 2020.

Dance teachers/SOs, like.... how y’all holding up? Y’all okay?

Serious question.. is rival studio drama necessary? Like, can we just mind our own business and move forward? Nah? Okay. 🤔

I feel like I’m never going to make it until the end of the dance year. It can’t be just me! I need JUNE more than I’ve ever needed it before!

@teeharvey2 Saawwweeeet! 🙄 hopefully the block schedule doesn’t suck all of the fun out of it!

@owner_tea Hate it! Dancers can’t feed off other dancers. Dancers can’t reunite with fellow competitors from other studios outside of our area. Dancers with multiple dances are exhausted from numerous fast as lightening costume changes and no breaks. Feels like just a studio performance.
