Cardinals RP JoJo Romero (Oxnard High), who was an important member of the Mexico bullpen in the WBC, was assigned to Triple-A Memphis Redbirds on March 25. He had a 3.77 ERA in 15 apps in St. Louis last year, when he struck out 16 in 14.1 IP.
