@smallpolar_bear i love that for you tbh! i became obsessed with wicked the musical when i was like 4 or 5 years old (and then the book when i was like 11 or 12) so its been very fun to see the gelphie renaissance even if i have my quibbles with the movie itself as an adaptation

@dhampirdulac @kindlestuck especially bc they use triangles & the color blue so much in his costumes, it feels like a deliberate nod to book!fiyero’s tattoos. the effect is that they kind of just made the book character’s ethnicity into like. an easter egg in his whitewashed version’s design. which sucks
