@acaseofthegolf1 Any view on 2 top LPGA players entering q school to get status so eligible for Solheim Cup. Pushed 3 finishers out of top 20 and 7 out of top 50. Should be a different way.

Why this picture is very cool and why it’s important to women’s golf: (long one) Women pros find it hard it to find money to keep their careers going. It’s hard for them to find a place to play, or people or companies to sponsor them. So female pros don’t have time to develop and often quit after missing at Q-school or don’t have immediate success. This hurts the depth of the women’s game. And why this picture is so cool. These 5 women are part of a program between @ANNIKA_Fdn and @Old_Barnwell Each year they select 4 women pros. They support the women for 3 years. They are given free housing, money to play events, and can practice at Old Barnwell. Along with access to Annika for mentorship. There are currently 14 pros in the program and today at the final stage of @LETgolf Q-school five of them earned their cards. A few of them turned pro more one year ago. They worked on their games, developed, got better, and now have a place to play. This is an opportunity not given to enough women and hope their success helps other courses/foundations/companies do the same. Awesome on Annika’s foundation and OB.

Yesterday at Q-school Emma McMyler was 4 outside of the number with 6 holes to play at @LPGA Q-school. 13- made 15 footer for birdie 15- made 11 footer for birdie 16- made 15 footer for birdie 17- made 8 footer for birdie 18- made a 21 footer with 3 feet of break for birdie. And earned her LPGA card. Is that any good? And the craziest part…she doesnt look at leaderboards. Didn't look at them all week, in fact wasn't entirely sure what her score was. It worked.
