It genuinely warms my heart seeing some of the armor sets I’ve worked on recently being well-received by the community ❤️
On that note I wanted to (again) ask you guys directly:
What kind of art or armor styles and gear would you like to see more of moving forward?
I know we’ve had a lot of heavily plated sets lately, so I’d really love to hear your thoughts and preferences on where you’d like to see things go next.

@Geo_Aqw I’ve had to learn this the hard way. The item lands, dopamine spikes then normality returns. That’s the loop. They’ve created a system that sells temporary excitement and so the problem arises ,they’re selling emotional completion while structurally ensuring incompletion.

@Koreyzzz The reward structure remains the same as it was during their Kickstarter for AQ3D, it's almost a 1:1. I ain't falling for it anymore. At most Ill just get the $25 backer. The cool set and early access to classes aren't worth it, trust me. I backed AQ3D for $120, regretted it.

They have historically shifted exclusivity definitions. That weakens credibility when exclusivity is used again.

@Sakerift @ADV36067606 Whether someone feels pressured out of fomo is subjective. However the system they have designed OBJECTIVELY creates scarcity pressure. You’re free to feel your own experience but don’t invalidate that the mechanic exists just because you aren’t affected by it

@Koreyzzz @Ashborn49933218 Beyond the 60 fps they keep thinking is somehow transformative in todays standards, what else besides that does Infinity offer to outsiders?
If it’s just the same system with a better framerate now playable on Steam I hardly consider that growth.

Nostalgia-based marketing doesn’t convert outsiders.
