@the1relax He's the perfect Packers pick. Player with incredible measurables but never started 1 game in College.

@DustyEvely @RossUglem absolutely do not disagree on the positional value thing. DT is a poor positional value at that point in the draft generally unless you're talking about a super talent like Vea. I would like to see them go Corner (if the right guy is available) or Edge in the 2nd & DT in 3 or 4

@p_voss @RossUglem It’s a value thing. If he truly is a “screw your feet into the ground & clog up the middle of the line” player with no pass rush ability, he’s really only seeing the field on what? 15 snaps a game? In the 2nd round, I want more than that.

I’ve seen enough “take Big Citrus at 52” takes that I wanted to get eyes on him. Still need to watch a couple more games but, based on what I’ve seen so far, I wouldn’t touch him at 52.

@p_voss Jett, then Pratt/Black, then Lara Also Nashville only has 2 OFs on their roster right now haha Looks like Crow is coming up to pitch tomorrow so will be a move regardless

@p_voss My guess is they make a move in a week or two and he is a defensive replacement

FOH with the prospect talk like they didn’t just pay Kyle Tucker $60M a year to be their fifth‑best hitter. The Dodgers are the best team in baseball because their payroll sits in its own tax bracket, miles above almost every other franchise, full stop. They have unlimited financial resources, so they’re not forced for trade prospects as much as other teams. When they do move someone good, it doesn’t matter. They can cover any mistake with another massive, deferred contract without blinking. The only meaningful difference between them and other well‑run teams is the budget. They’re the Rays with a stack of blank checks. They’ve drafted and developed very few true stars in the last decade; they bought the rest. Any conversation that ignores their spending is disingenuous at best. Stop acting like they’re some feel‑good story built on plucky underdogs and homegrown talent.
Nelson Espinal@nelson__espinal

This is why the Dodgers are the best-run franchise in baseball. Andrew Friedman, rather than trading his prospects, keeps them and figures things out later. He kept Dalton Rushing even with Will Smith in the fold, and now Rushing is breaking out.

@DustyEvely @RossUglem I think we can't be too critical when picking at 52 & with clear clear deficiencies & needs. I get he's not the top 1-2 DT's in the draft...but they likely don't have an opportunity at those guys this year with no 1st rounder. whoever you get is going to be an imperfect prospect

@RossUglem That’s true, but when asked to do stuff I think the profile suggests he should be good at, I was still left wanting. Maybe he develops into something, but I didn’t see enough pass rush stuff to project forward too much. Gonna roll through a couple more games tonight.

@Peter_Bukowski so what...they still need to address it now...Nixon & Valentine are both FA's after this year I believe...the cupboard is bare at that position in GB.

That's what we thought last year and for as long as Micah Parsons was healthy, they were fine at CB. Most rookies are bad. Nearly all rookie CBs are bad.
Justin Ferguson@JFERGG33

@Peter_Bukowski if they don’t address corner in the top 4 rounds thatsssss bad
