@Tim_Burgess @chris_hawkins I once saw an up and coming band support The Smiths in 1985, called James - whatever happened to them? 😉. Also went to V Festival in about 2010 - mainly to see The Specials and Killers - there was an American singer on stage performing to a handful of people - Taylor Swift

@COYIronscom Don’t think we were poor - Palace doubled up on Bowen and Jimmy, so contained us well. Mav, Axel, KWP and Matteus all had decent games. Still 2 points above Spuds.

@windiescricket @icelandcricket It was almost an honour to get stuffed by such a great Windies side that MM was part of … made a bit more palatable for us Hampshire supporters. 😉

Today, we remember the life of the late great Malcolm Marshall.
Maco took 376 wickets in 81 Tests.

In 1996 a BBC intern switched the broadcast tape of Bagpuss for one he had re-edited to include footage from an old British smut film. There was predictable outrage with the switchboard jammed with complaints from over 4 million angry mothers (no calls from fathers). An angry mob descended on BBC TV Centre, but they couldn't get in, so they scaled the wall into the Blue Peter garden and uprooted some of Percy Throwers spring bulbs. It was another day in the annals of shame for the BBC.

@FarnhamTownFC Will it be obvious which the Peparami stand is...?
English

We are encouraging @Basingstoke_FC supporters to use the Peperami stand today to support their team.
There will also be a third turnstile operational at the bottom of Mead Lane.
The ground will NOT be segregated. We’re looking forward to a great day in the sun ☀️

@DavidPo19777840 @sid_lambert I was there too - Steven Bywater went in goal and if I recall, we were 4-2 down at one stage. A crazy game - PDCs antics, the final score, Shaka’s leg and Lawrence’s red barnet … a game that sticks in the memory!! ⚒️
English

@sid_lambert Went to this game. Absolutely bad shit crazy. Shaka Hislop broke his leg in the first few minutes and West Ham were 4-2 down with 20 minutes to go. Joe Cole scored his first goal for West Ham that day.
English

@tomassoucek28 Tomas - you understand what it is to be ‘ West Ham’ and always give your best in the pitch. You’ll always be appreciated by us fans and will be spoken about fondly in many years to come!! COYI

🙏 From this little guy to the best Czech scorer in the Premier League
Life has a way of delivering even the most surreal stories, and I am deeply honored to live mine. Huge thanks to everyone who helped me on the bumpy, yet exciting journey. Can't even describe how grateful I feel for what I've achieved. I am proud of my roots, and I’ll always give everything to make people in Czechia proud and happy.
☺️ To mark the occasion of breaking the Czech goalscoring record, I’m also excited to announce that my book will soon be available in English!
Stay tuned, 𝐒𝐔𝐊 ❤️⚒️🤍

@MartinAllen1965 Now, if anyone is ever unsure as to where your ‘Mad’ moniker came from … just show them this!! Brilliant stuff though!! 👏🏼👏🏼
English

@CallumWilson Hey Callum, whilst you haven’t been starting every game, your experience and knowledge of the game has been key, particularly helping with the younger lads in the team. 👍🏼⚒️⚒️

@oharaviolin @Tate I find his artwork absolutely mesmerising, I can sit and look at it for hours. My wife, on the other hand thinks her class 2 kids can do better … ahh, the joys of art and the differing emotions that it can bring!
English

Passing @Tate this morning. Sat with Mark Rothko’s Seagram Murals for a bit. Free. Absolute privilege 💜

@MartinAllen1965 @ste54507 @paulHoop22 Was at the game and thought the Rs fans were great - had a chat with a few on the way to and from the game. Decent folk and good to chat about the game despite rivalries. As for the game - it showed that we are Championship level in many areas of the team. COYI
English

@ste54507 @paulHoop22 Oh dear. I’m so sorry you and your son had to witness this behaviour at football. R’s fans over the years have been proper decent supporters and today I thought they sung there hearts out
It’s a shame a few have spoilt your day.
I’m so sorry for you both.

@OfficialHuey @VirginRadioUK One of the best things about @OfficialHuey shows is that there is ALWAYS new music to discover and enjoy. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to any of his shows without diving into other work by artists that he’s played! Cheers Huey and thanks for the education! ✊🏼👍🏼
English

@OfficialHuey Oh mannnnn!! Your show was always an education - introducing me to new music and making me realise there are sooo many good tunes out there to discover. All good things come to an end but will be following you in your next venture. Thanks Huey. 👏🏼👏🏼

@MissSassbox The chef is wearing black gloves, so it must be good. If the chef had no gloves on, then it would just be a lump of fat.
