I don’t think NFTs are “back” the same way they came the first time. And honestly… I’m glad. The first wave was loud. It was fast. It was money, floors, hype, screenshots, flexing, and people chasing the next thing before they even understood what they were holding. But this time feels different. It feels quieter. More intentional. More creative. The people still here are different now. The artists are still creating. The builders are still building. The collectors who truly care are still collecting. The communities that survived had to become more than floor prices. They had to become stories, brands, culture, friendships, IP, and real emotion. That’s why this new energy feels better to me. NFTs are slowly finding their way back into the hands of real artists, real creators, and real communities that actually care about what they are making. You see people like @LucaNetz with @pudgypenguins , who never stopped pushing the vision and proved that NFT IP can live beyond the blockchain, into toys, storytelling, retail, and mainstream culture. You see people like @AdamWeitsman , who continues to show up, collect, support, and bring attention back to the space when a lot of people disappeared. And then you see all the smaller creators, the independent artists, the community founders, the people who never had millions behind them but still kept showing up because they believed in what they were building. That’s the part I care about most. NFTs were never supposed to just be about flipping JPEGs. They were supposed to be about ownership, identity, access, culture, creativity, and giving artists and communities a new way to build together. Maybe the crash was necessary. Maybe we had to lose the tourists, the noise, the fake promises, and the people who only cared when everything was going up. Because what’s left now feels more real. More grounded. More creator-led. More human. And if NFTs come back this way, slowly, with real artists, real builders, real collectors, and real communities leading the way… Then maybe this time they come back stronger than ever. Not because everyone is chasing a pump. But because people finally understand what we were trying to build all along.
