@PranavSriraman I am high on Mara but I just don’t think him on a rookie deal is more valuable in a win now scenario than Zu who is making 20 mil a year for the next 3 seasons. That’s great value for a guy who was getting All-NBA votes just a couple seasons ago. (I swear it’s not cope)

It’s not even about that (good shot though centers with that level of defense and passing have super high floors need not mention the movement skills) it’s the talent + cost. Mara on a rookie deal so you have cash to spend on other margins > Zubac on his contract. Still don’t think Zu in a vacuum is the problem trade for him but do so using other assets than probably your best pick in the Hali era.
