@Peter_Bukowski Isn't throwing the football, accurately, to the correct read kind of the most important physical gift a QB can possess? Otherwise Anthony Richardson and Taylen Green blow John Elways away in "physical gifts" but they can't throw a football.

@supermonangai Run an actual NFL offense and not turn every play into another rendition of schoolyard recess football.

@Peter_Bukowski Absolutely, easy call. This is the kind of move where you find the fans who don't get it. Enagbare just got what 11? Smart move by Gutey.

The LVN fifth-year option, at the price, is a no-brainer. He looked poised to take a real jump in play last year before injury scuttled a promising start. Packers need him to pick up where he left off.

@Peter_Bukowski Lol Peter, he was in like every top 80 in the last two weeks. You should probably delete this, yikes.

Your first pick of the draft, at the top of the 3rd round and you take a guy in the 100 picks too early based on the consensus board. Cool man.

@Peter_Bukowski That always happens to certain players, the media boards catch up to the team boards. Igbinosun isn't that good. Give me Everette, Cisse, Muhammad and Neal over him any day.

What’s weird is he worked out at the combine, was widely seen as a Round 2 player for weeks, and in the last month or so has fallen on the consensus boards to the third. Funny, no one played any football in that time.

@Peter_Bukowski I’d be pretty annoyed with Igbanosun at 52. Feels like yet another 2nd round reach

@Peter_Bukowski No different than WR and everyone is clamoring for one. Farmer is a stud, he'll be better in year 2 than Banks.

@Peter_Bukowski Take Stowers, make him a mismatch big slot, take the comp pick for Reed. What say you? Hurst is strictly outside and Golden and Watson are long-term pieces there.

If the right CB isn’t there at 52, I could absolutely see the Packers taking a shot on a player like Ted Hurst. The upside is eye-popping and he’s a full-send Packers type. Big, fast, and explosive plus he’d immediately be the best contested catch WR on the team.

@TylerDBrooke What about something out of left field and taking Stowers, slim him down to the 220s and let him be a big slot? He was detached from the line 70% of snaps already anyway, so he's probably more comfortable as a WR than a true Y.

@TylerDBrooke I would rather use the picks for CB, IDL, EDGE and OL depth and sign Jauan Jennings, Gabe Davis or Deebo to be the bigger frame WR, punt the need to draft to next year's loaded class.

Matt LaFleur would rather die than have a WR room full of smalls + Watson Except them to look at a bigger bodied WR in the draft

@Peter_Bukowski These guys should stop playing football and just put on shorts and get measured and workout for your board. Tape means nothing. Not like these NFL teams have their GPS data and S&C info from their teams.

@Peter_Bukowski If Reed isn't a long term piece, it's because they want Golden in his role and will be drafting size, like Fields, Sarratt, Hurst, Lane, Brazzell to fill the open spot.

Skyler Bell is half an inch taller and a pound bigger than Matthew Golden with longer arms. He's taller than Randall Cobb. If Jayden Reed isn't a long-term piece, I would think Bell would appeal to GB.

@Peter_Bukowski It used to be maybe 5% of prospects didn't have testing, now it's growing to 25-30%, and probably closer to 40% of the top 64. I don't think our GM just isn't going to address IDL because those guys didn't lace em up in Spandex shorts.

That means of my top DTs, three won't have testing (Gutey doesn't do that on top picks) and another may have disqualifying testing. COOL

@Peter_Bukowski @FrozenTakesInGB He was the smallest boundary in P4 too, for the undefeated national champs. 7/879 ranked PFF cover corner, 3% miss tackle rate, 43% completion rate, 42 QBR against, he's not a typical 5'9 CB, he's a 1%er of an athlete, with a dawg mentality and elite production. Outside CB.

@FrozenTakesInGB @packerraymond EVERYONE in draft media is saying he's a slot because he'd be the smallest boundary CB in the NFL. This is not hard guys. No one is saying taking a bad player. That's not the choice.

@MarkOldacres You know what they say, any set of guidelines that brings you Damarious Randall, Quentin Rollins, Kevin King, Josh Jackson, Josh Jones, Kadar Hollman, Darnell Savage, Vernon Scott, Eric Stokes and Shemar Jean-Charles is one you need not stray from.

Since ‘05 Green Bay hasn’t drafted a CB whose height was more than 21 percentage points higher than their weight using the RAS system, and on avg they’ve been almost exactly aligned in height/weight percentile. 4 popular players who violate this desire for well proportioned CBs

By this point the Packers’ benchmarks for height and weight at various positions are well known, but at corner specifically, the relationship between the two is very important and under discussed. Click here for a very nerdy conversation👇🏻 packerswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/n…

@Peter_Bukowski @FrozenTakesInGB Ponds as a slot is just lazy size only scouting. Guy is the biggest dawg in the draft and any team that doesn't start him outside first is foolish. Abney too. We'll end up taking a tall stiff like we usually do and those two will turn out to be much better players.

@FrozenTakesInGB They’re also massive NFL outliers. DJ Reed is the only boundary CB at that height in the NFL. And he’s a full 10 pounds heavier (which is a huge difference on their frames). I get it, you want the attitude, but Ponds is a slot CB and they already have a good one.

@Peter_Bukowski They'll have no choice but to use tape and GPS data, every year less and less workout. Jacas didn't do anything, Jonah Coleman, etc. They aren't going to diminish their pool that much.

So did Christen Miller not work out at his pro day? Saw he did positional drills but if he doesn’t have an athletic profile, that would make him a pretty big outlier for the Packers with a top 100 pick.

Roster decay is very real in Green Bay. You can debate the quality of the players lost, but... Rashan Gary Elgton Jenkins Quay Walker Malik Willis Nate Hobbs Kingsley Enagbare Romeo Doubs Rasheed Walker Colby Wooden 2026 team probably won't be as talented as the 2025 team.
