You can’t expect to win a single fucking thing when you play every game with 9-10 passengers on the pitch like we’ve been doing lately. We lack courage, we lack conviction and we lack passion more than anything. For far too long we’ve been absolutely obsessed with playing the ball around at the back and then when we do dare to go forward, we either play ridiculously slowly or we’ll stop halfway and start going sideways and then backwards again. There’s absolutely no attacking desire and when we do get forward, we’re clueless. For the title to be sitting on a plate and us go and turn out that shit show of a performance is despicable, and very worrying. You’d think the players would be raring to go, but it’s got to be on the manager that they play so slowly and negatively. Should we end up with nothing again, it has to be a time for change in the summer. You can’t keep finishing 2nd and falling at the final hurdle, because - as we’ve seen in the past - our best players will get fed up and move, then we’re back to square one. So we either show some balls or the club falls back 5-10 years, again. And finally, all this effort to whip the crowd up beforehand then the players don’t even bother turning up? They owe us an apology. Cowards.
