@takuma_okada_ it might also be just because Three Musketeers has a tennis match turn into a fencing riot and who doesn't want to recreate that

@takuma_okada_ back when I was doing historical fencing regularly we always went to tennis courts for outdoor training/sparring. Solid flat ground and usually they have lighting even though no one plays tennis after like 3pm for some reason

@How2Drink from what I've seen: pretty much every super bike friendly city also has very good public transit. Bike only is probably a lifestyle choice for a minority of people. Also, Denmark is incredibly temperate and usually doesn't get below freezing or above a cool 75F

Also this “bike city” obsession kinda sounds like people saying “yeah, why aren’t you in fantastic shape like I am?” Idunno. I love greener bike friendly cities but something about the bike-boosters does kinda rub me the wrong way.

This is a real question but- what do bicycle cities do in the winter? And in summer, do all places of business offer employees places to shower? I’m trying to understand how that works.

I walked out of our TDOV rally today with the info for three organizers I hadn't met before and a friend asked me to get plugged in to one of the orgs there.
You have to build power to wield it.
