UK Covid-19 Inquiry Members of Northern Ireland Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice gathered on Wednesday to express their concerns in relation to the implementation of recommendations made by the UK Covid-19 Inquiry’s first investigation into pandemic preparedness.

This can not be a token gesture. Monday is only the start. Hopefully @moneillsf and @little_pengelly will see the value in engaging with the group and the knowledge we can bring to the table.

Ms Campbell asked the Inquiry to properly consider the significant proportion of privately funded care homes in Northern Ireland, which it currently stands at 90%. The impact of this privatisation on visiting guidance in these residential care homes during the pandemic.

Module 6 will investigate the impact of the pandemic on the publicly and privately funded adult social care sector in the UK.
