Few things in baseball are more overrated than first basemen striding forward. It gains very little time and crushes your catch radius. Experienced first basemen know this (and learned it pretty young). It's far more important to stay back and maintain a bigger catch radius, this would have been a routine out. Only stride forward/stretch on long throws you know are on-target.

Uncoachable players have short careers. They flinch at feedback. They make excuses. They need praise. The best? They hunt coaching. Feedback is a gift. Cash it in.💰

Playing high level infield and having an elite internal clock means you have to take the right angle and get to the ball. The quicker you get to the ball the more time you have to use the toolbox!! Slow=Fast

Overprotected kids become unprepared adults. Dawn Staley nailed it.🔥 You can’t shelter your child from every hard moment and then expect them to handle adversity when it counts. Hard is the lesson. Watch. Share. Bookmark.

Everybody wants discipline… until discipline gets loud.
Everybody wants toughness… until toughness gets uncomfortable. Hard coaching isn’t abuse.
Hard coaching is correction.
Hard coaching is standards.
Hard coaching is loving a kid enough not to let him stay average. If a coach is demanding effort, detail, toughness, and accountability bothers you… that probably says more about today’s culture than it does the coach.

Baseball rewards the ones who keep showing up. The ones who put in the extra reps when no one’s watching. The ones who fail, adjust, and come back stronger. Hard work doesn’t always show up right away… But when it does — it’s everything you dreamed of. Keep going. The game always gives back. #BaseballDreams #HardWorkPaysOff #KeepGrinding #TrustTheProcess
