Amazing student @zoey_landry takes home the @MuseumofNature Outstanding Student Award for her work with Pleistocene wolves, Polar Bears, and ongoing work on Beringian Pleistocene horses! More than well-deserved!

Well, I’ve always said I wish I could fit a horse into my car… Huge thanks to my colleagues in Whitehorse for granting me the privilege to study these specimens. Here’s hoping we can use them to make a difference for the living wild horses in Yukon 🖤

A belated congrats to @palaeozoe for winning the Robert Lynn Carroll prize at the annual meeting of @CanSVP! Her talk on Yukon Equus body size was excellent and I look forward to more cool horse research!

Check our recent work with @lxmsos and @applehekou: nature.com/articles/s4156… We demonstrate that reverse weathering had a key role in controlling the extended greenhouse climate and prolonged biotic recovery of the Early Triassic!

#FieldFriday It's always exciting to see what everyone is working on during the field season, but we're especially excited to see what comes from @palaeoeco and @palaeozoe's work in the Old Crow region. Call us biased, but we think #iceage fossils are pretty cool😎

This summer marks a return to #fieldwork for many of @museumofnature’s researchers. From #fossils to #seaweed, to rare #minerals, read about what our experts are uncovering and where they are making these discoveries. nature.ca/en/about-the-m…

Creative way to do some megafauna research! Adopt a mammoth with UAF! Something similar could be done in Canada? @palaeozoe, @palaeoeco #gsc.tab=0" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">uaf.edu/news/museum-of…
