i don't understand why i or any other person thinks twice to talk or approach another human. knowing that we are the only species who can understand and communicate in the best form. and will surely get a reply or a reaction. hesitation stays, opportunity fades.

the coolest residency just wrapped up. with acceptance into accelerators like @colosseum colosseum, tens of thousands in recurring revenue, billions burned in ai tokens, culture goes out riding a wave of night poker and euphoria. thank you, all. we'll be back soon.

I'd do anything to not be the part of those traditional systems. and yeah I also believe in the theory of every other person being an aspect of ourselves since they're allowed to have perspectives about us. would love to try your references! also noway are you in Christ Central?

I agree with your bit on the end. When I was much younger, I watched this video by some YouTuber, I think Kurzgesagt or something and then more recently I was reading on the internet about religious philosophy, and they had a view of the world where every single other person you meet is just another aspect of you. You will enjoy reading Buddhist texts and about Taoism. I think we live in a society of very little collaboration where everyone is racing towards some goal or the other competing with everyone else. The so-called “rat race” perhaps. This is maybe why much more fluent approach is seen in circles that follow unconventional paths that aren’t part of the traditional system. sidenote: did a bit of stalking, we’re from the same university and I’m your junior from a different department

I completely agree. Even I am in my 2nd year law and I do hesitate in tech community. I've recently learned not to. But it took a while for me ofc. It's just the times that I've tried before it's not that I got a negative response, infact I've gotten people to help me instantly, it's on me that I kept feeling that I need to prove myself in the community through the work I've done or the knowledge that I have. apart from the interdisciplinary fields, I've got negative experience with getting responses as well, and they indeed were successful getting me shut, but thats just them having more control on me that I have on myself. there's actually nothing to do after getting a negative response than to let it go. this is what should be learnt. Anything being successful to stop you or making you conscious should be irrelevant. you should be so much above that. you should hold nothing against anyone. because you're above that. nobody should have the power to hurt or bother you. Even if they do, it's completely alright, you should have the courage to talk. again. move on. be better. and be unbothered.

we aren't letting anyone else define who we are, but we are deciding who we are by deciding what not to do after having negative responses. that is how humans learn what to do and what not to do. I feel like there's a lack of places, specifically outside the whole tech ecosystem where "approaching humans" isn't normalised very much. Think about how many people you have seen in finance or law going to a random event and going back after meeting and talking to 4 new people There are toastmasters clubs, but we need more general spaces that people are less hesitant to go to for this to work out. I don't find it difficult to approach people, but I'd hesitate to go a toastmasters club. We need more spaces in public that yearn for collaborative work amongst strangers in interdisciplinary fields.

@kkrishguptaa yeah but isn't overcoming that or any fear the part of life. how could we on the contrary let anyone define who we are or shape our own perspective. i want this realisation to hit so bad that nobody's bothered anymore

@palashaaa people who think twice before approaching other humans had terrible experiences doing that beforehand that or it wasn't normalised in their upbringing or culture to talk to random humans

Over the last few weeks culture has seen tremendous results. A Colosseum acceptance, a shitton added in MRRs, hundreds of thousands of views across channels, and so much unhinged fun. Finally, culture01 is bringing its first cohort to a wrap. Join us at @BLRxZo this saturday for an evening of culture's tasteful faces yapping about their progress, followed by a night of poker and mafia. Food and drinks on us. Vibes too. You just bring your most interesting self. Register: luma.com/0w2no5gf
