milky coffee is good to start off with cuz its a lot more of a subtle flavor, but if you decide you like the strong taste then cold brew or just filter coffee (tho it's worth buying some nice coffee grounds and making it yourself) is awesome

tbh from what i've heard about hytale's development process, the first 8+ years were so slow just because they kept running into walls outside of the actual game (ie. getting funding to make the damn thing) so it's not entirely their fault

this argument is disingenuous because minecraft has existed for around 17 years, hytale was in a development nightmare for close to a decade and is only out now because it’s in early access

@paledoptera 99% of it is math the first time round. if youre smart about it, you can cut it down to like 60% but that requires you to actually make useful, helpful systems for content implementation youll actually use

@SmthUnrelated tbh i think its partly them being terrified of adding anything that might knock over the wobbly foundation of the game, and partly the fact that if anyone tries to add anything interesting it has to go through layers of triple a bureuceacy until nothing interesting is left
