In my community, we had a teacher called Mr Maphosa, a retired soldier who went to teaching because he claimed he had a calling for it. All the subjects he was teaching he always got 100%. But that 100% involved parents, if you fail, then your family must explain why you failed. One time, one of my classmates failed every subject, Mr Maphosa went to ask his family, “Ifuze bani le ngane?”. The father of the family thought intwana was excelling, “Obvious ifuze mina le ngane nge...”. While he was still talking Mr Maphosa waphonsa impama. “Since yamoshwa wuwe izolungiswa wuwe”. So bazalwane stop comparing yourselves with other people.” I remember when one mother died without helping her child with an assignment, and Mr Maphosa requested that they bury her with a Mathematics question paper kwathiwa she will finish it off eZulwini. Now, as I type this, most of those kids are now doctors, teachers, pilots, and journalists...etc all because of Mr Maphosa. 🔥

Nanikuphi, when my sister cheated on gangsta from Pretoria named Makhafula, you could see he was hurting. He arrived at home and made us stand a que, then made us explain 1 by 1 ukuthi were we were the time my sister cheated, I remember explaining that I had classes and he just said, “Okay it means wena you cheat in class”. I could see my aunt was ready to have a heart attack or stroke, while Makhafula was busy complaining that my sister was using him for money. He then decided to stop the car, we couldn't even see where we were, and he said, “Can you please give me ama Hugs”. We all started hugging him. Makhafula froze up while we were comforting him, and then he suddenly forced us to get inside the car again, and he started driving again, we heard him saying “Why singavele siye kuye eDurban siyomgcwalisela?”, That time sise Mpumalanga, it’s 8 hours ukuya eDurban. He drove for 3 hours, waphinde wamisa, wathi “Eish!! ay angeke ngiyazi judger nam, let's turn back guys”. The time was 3am, we arrived at home around 6am. When he left, we had to pack our stuff and go hide for four weeks at a relative in Mamelodi. After that four weeks we decided to come back home and we found a note emnyango, “Uxolo guys! Ngingene in a wrong house, kahle kahle bengifuna umuzi wakwa Mahlangu”. Yah, ne!!, we decided ukuya kwaMahlangu, masifika we found them with big stomachs crying. We asked Bab'Mahlangu what happened, “You won't believe this, some guy Makhafula arrived wathi masipheke yonke iGrocery eseKhabhathini siyidle yonke because ingane yam ijolela indlala”. 😭😭
