Day Two of the interactive session of the roundtable discussion on the security challenges facing Northern Nigeria organized by the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) under the able Chairmanship of former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar. The primary objectives of this roundtable are to provide an operational framework for seamless coordination among federal, state, and local governments, as well as security agencies. Additionally, the roundtable aims to democratize the approach by mobilizing various stakeholders such as traditional institutions, religious leaders, community leaders, youth groups, civil society organizations, women groups, the media and the public to take ownership of the situation in collaboration with security agencies. #yakubupam #peace

Today, Monday the 8th of January, 2024, I paid a courtesy visit to the Consul General of Italy to Nigeria in Lagos, HE, Ugo Boni with some of my management staff. Our discussion was centred on areas of mutually beneficial relationship, especially the issue of visa procurement for intending pilgrims for the 2023/2024 Main Pilgrimage exercise to Rome and Greece slated to commence by the end of the month.
