Why African remains backward can be traced to two simple things. Lack of consistency and lack of quality. It cascades everywhere from private sector to governance. It hit home very hard this week with two events in my family. My wife’s birthday and my son’s graduation.

@asemota It was so bad to the point that the first round of program that was done i couldn’t show the videos to my counterparts here due to the state of the pitches, when I did show the final one, the first message I got was “this pitch is touch and tackle” which is a perfect description

@asemota I ran a scouting program for football in lagos and Ibadan a month ago and the quality of pitches these guys told me were great was appalling, bare in mind it’s inside a stadium, it got me depressed for some time after because I realised we are not used to excellence

@FinPlanKaluAja1 @dogzigee With inflation, even then it shouldn’t be a dramatic increase. My logic is this, if I live until I’m 80yrs I should’ve accumulate enough wealth for my dependent and if I’m wrong they get a good payout to decrease the impact of losing me. It’s a win win in my opinion
