i spent $300K building a crypto game it made $0 last week, we launched @Jaileddotfun a prison simulator on solana it was our most anticipated game since our last hit game @addicteddotfun the numbers before launch looked insane: 10M organic views (no paid marketing) 40K followers in 30 days more attention than addicted got it felt like we're about to ship another banger but the results was launch tweet: 200K views users: ~1000 rev: $300K (mainly trading fee) - cost: $288K (3 full time devs + 4 audits) = profit $12K we rejected all vc money and chose to be an independent game studio, so each game's revenue is extremely important to keep shipping new games and we completely fucked up so far we shipped 5 games here's the break down of each games rev 1. @infecteddotfun → -$50K 2. @Insddotfun → $0 3. @addicteddotfun → +$4M 4. @pussycattech → $0 5. @Jaileddotfun → +$12K before infected, we shipped 5+ mini games and all made $0 failure rate is 99.9% that’s the reality of building crypto games but one hit changes everything just like we saw with addicted compared to Defi Kingdoms, Axie infinity, Stepn, it’s still peanuts tho we just need to keep shipping faster and better till we build a biggest crypto game in history we’re now building an onchain heist game drop a comment if you want early access to @Heistedxyz

quick history of the games built by $VIRUS 1st game: @infecteddotfun - 130K+ signed up on the waitlist pre-launch - 1.4M players joined the game - became one of the most viral games on base but learned 2 hard lessons. First, we realized that ethereum L2 couldn’t handle massive viral traffic, EVM holds foundamental scaling issues. If we wanted to build the biggest game in crypto, we had to move to Solana. also when we launched infected, we got hit with DDoS and database attacks everywhere. viral games attract lots of players but also predators too. we learned the importance of resilience and need for hardening the game/systems as much as possible. 2nd game: @Insddotfun - the first SocialFi survival game on Solana this time, no downtime, no hacks, fully resilient. we made first rev (~$20K) after losing a lot with infected. but it didn’t go as viral. the good pre-launch campaign and strong invite mechanics were def needed. it reminded us one thing: virality isn’t optional, its everything. 3rd game: @addicteddotfun - 2M views on the launch trailer - $50M+ trading volume - 200K+ packs sold - $3.5M in revenue in 48 hours addicted became one of the biggest crypto games of 2025. But it also showed deeper issues: sustainability of the game, gap between snz1 and szn2, long-term gameplay depth etc. It was our first real hit, but far from perfect. We know we can build 10x games better. Because our biggest strength is simple: we learn fast and improve faster. 25% of all game revenue goes to $VIRUS buybacks. this flywheel is our core to build the biggest game studio in crypto while building and rewarding our long term believers markets are dead now. perfect time to build. lock in.
