Abuse and trauma are NOT topics that should ever be treated lightly No matter who is involved, there is still a real VICTIM ❗ behind this situation — someone who carried fear, pain, and trauma for many years before finding the strength to speak UP! That alone deserves empathy, care, and Respect.. I understand why so many people are upset right now. When situations like this happen, public reactions and visible support can deeply affect how safe or unheard a victim feels. That is why people are speaking so emotionally about it. For me personally, supporting and listening to victims should always come first. Not fandoms, not public image, not protecting celebrities from criticism. At the same time, I hope discussions around this stay humane and thoughtful, because this is a serious issue, not entertainment or fanwar content. More than anything, I truly hope the victim receives justice, support, healing, and peace after carrying this pain for so long🙏🤍

É revoltante ver pessoas tratando uma denúncia tão séria como se fosse apenas “drama de internet” porque envolve alguém famoso ou porque o ator favorito delas curtiu uma postagem. Estamos falando de um homem que teve coragem de expor abusos, estupro, violência e abandono familiar. Isso não é entretenimento. Não é fandom war. É sobre dor real. Psi Scott contou que foi abusado quando criança, que tentou pedir ajuda e foi silenciado. Contou que viveu com medo, que só encontrou segurança ao lado do avô, e que até hoje é chamado de ingrato por ter decidido falar a verdade. E mesmo diante de tudo isso, ainda existem pessoas mais preocupadas em defender imagem de celebridade do que em demonstrar o mínimo de humanidade. Pior do que quem curtiu a postagem problemática é quem passa pano e tenta justificar tudo porque “é meu fav”. Desde quando admiração por artista virou motivo para desligar a consciência? Não existe idolatria que valha mais do que caráter. Não existe fandom acima da dignidade de uma vítima. É assustador perceber como algumas pessoas conseguem fechar os olhos para violência, abuso e humilhação só para proteger alguém que nem conhece elas. Apoiar cegamente qualquer pessoa, ignorando atitudes problemáticas, é exatamente o que fortalece culturas de silêncio e impunidade. Ter senso crítico não é odiar artista. Cobrar responsabilidade não é “cancelamento”. E apoiar uma vítima não deveria depender de quem está envolvido no caso. Não vendam o caráter de vocês por fandom. Não normalizem falta de empatia só porque envolve alguém que vocês admiram. O mínimo que uma vítima merece é ser ouvida com respeito.

O ativista LGBTQ+ tailandês Psi Scott revelou ter sido vítima de abuso sexual repetidas vezes durante a infância por seu irmão Pi Scott, casado com a famosa atriz Mild. Ele também já havia denunciado abusos cometidos pela antiga babá. Psi disse que todos os seus familiares tinham conhecimento dos abusos, inclusive sua mãe, mas ninguém tomou nenhuma providência. Ele afirma que há provas gravadas em que o irmão confessa os estupros, e que, ao pedir ajuda aos familiares, foi orientado a “pedir desculpas à mãe”. Psi publicou em seu Instagram um áudio em que confronta seu irmão. Atualmente, a mãe de Psi o chama de “criança ingrata” por expor os abusos e estaria processando o filho. A suposta motivação envolve uma herança deixada pelo avô de Psi, ex-presidente da Singha (famosa marca de cerveja tailandesa) que o acolheu quando ele tinha 12 anos. Psi está sendo alvo de ataques homofóbicos por parte do público após uma série de celebridades curtirem e apoiarem postagens em defesa de Pi Scott.

One thing I hate at this grown age is somebody who acts like cause & effect does not exist ! Yes your actions caused this outcome ! So why are you acting surprised & playing victim ?

you can be a fan and still (and should) have morals. it’s okay to question & distance yourself from people you admire when their actions no longer align with your values. that’s not being fake, it’s called having principles.

Fanfic has lost the element of community. Some readers endlessly devour content without engaging, ignoring WIPs and active writers. Some writers treat readers as "fans" instead of an actual community that needs to be nourished. Not engaging with actual Fandom content at all. Fandom doesnt stay alive when there is no community. We are supposed to discuss, communicate, fan girl, brain storm, head Canon share, etc. Like we are all fans of the same thing. 🥲
