you don’t care about realism, you care that it’s gay. and that’s why so many shows have and probably will continue to use queer people as plot devices for straight relationships and use them as learning experiences rather than use them for a deep, meaningful storyline.

to me, that’s more important than any sort of “realistic” storyline. what’s not realistic is finding a girl with super powers in the woods who doesn’t know anything about the world yet and kissing her a couple days after she learns what a friend is.

i really do like max and mike’s dynamic and i wish we got more of them!! i dislike how some people try to make out that they dislike each other or max genuinely hates him. he was in her most special memories, they have a sibling bickering dynamic and they care about each other
