In The Office, Michael Imperioli was cast as Sensei Billy after Rainn Wilson searched for actors with black belts “So, they needed to cast this martial arts instructor and it was an episode with Dwight that’s Rainn Wilson’s character.” “He literally googled actors who have black belts in martial arts and that’s how I got that part.” “That’s showbiz. Google, that’s all it takes.”

Her name was probably Elise or Marguerite. She had been sitting like this for a while. She feels tired. The book is still opened on the same page. A carriage past bellow , its wheels loud against the cobblestone . Somewhere there , a cup of tea, already cold. The view remain the same, always the same. From behind her came the sound of her aunt conversation of her marriage. She wondered what it would be like to be the sort of woman who climb out the balcony, who did something decisive and stupid. She smile. She always smile. Hans Heyerdahl (1857–1913), At the Window (1881)

@historyinmemes I don`t understand why there`s such hype around this " The Boys" show, It`s okay but people act like there`s nothing else on Earth. Maybe I`m missing something...

A blooper from The Boys set showed Jim Beaver repeatedly landing his shots with perfect accuracy, even when it looked like he was trying not to.

This little guy survived an explosion that killed the artist. It`s literally just a little bird chained to its perch on a plain wall. It has some chance of movement, for the length of the chain is perhaps twice the height of the bird, and moreover its loop is allowed to slide left and right along the metal bar. We can imagine the bird taking flight, for seconds. . It will flutter, perhaps hold a position in mid-air like a hummingbird, before it must return to its place on the perch. ⤵️ The Goldfinch (1654),Carel Fabritius

This is a tough bird. The yellow , the brown, the wall behind it, it all feel so soft and worm. Fabritius died young , caught in the explosion of the Delft gunpowder magazine on 12 October 1654, which destroyed a quarter of the city, along with his studio and many of his paintings. Only about a dozen have survived . Maybe the size helped to save it , for it measures just 35 by 23 centimeters. Another significant detail , Fabritius was studying in the studio of Rembrandt and later moved to the city of Delft where Vermeer and Pieter de Hooch both lived and worked. Detail of ‘The Goldfinch’ (1654) Carel Fabritius.

Anya Taylor-Joy has only about 30 lines of dialogue. Miller wanted her to convey emotion primarily through her eyes and “war face.” She wanted to shave her head for real like Charlize Theron but modeling contracts didn’t let her do it. Miller thought Anya was too iconic to shave.

We are not sure will she be able to escape, or she even want to escape. There`s a little sadness and melancholy coming from the dryad. Even the dryad `s eyes and hair are similar brown tone as the tree trunk.

Their life was tied to the life of the tree with which they were associated with. When the tree would die , from old age or from human hand , the dryad would die too. The curves of the body fallow the curve of the tree. The dryad is merging with the tree and the tree is at once shelter and a trap. Evelyn De Morgan, The Dryad, 1885

Cillian Murphy had been vegetarian for 15 years… until Peaky Blinders. To embody tough gangster physique, his trainer wanted him to bulk up, which meant real meat. Not look like “skinny Irish fella” Murphy said he was afraid of mad cow disease before

In The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), no wires or effects were needed for Jaws lifting and slamming James Bond. Richard Kiel (7’2”) genuinely overpowered Roger Moore with his size and strength. When Bond kicks Jaws out the train window, stuntman insisted on using real glass.

Richard Gere said the dog really connected with him in Hatchi. “These are not the kind of dogs you can buy with treats, they either like you or they don’t. Trainers were nervous about me meeting because once an Akita doesn’t like you, there’s no changing its mind.”
