@shockerbotany One tip: When you think you want a cigarette, tell yourself "Not now, maybe tomorrow." Then keep telling yourself that every day. Eventually, you'll realize that you don't want it anymore. Worked for me when I gave up eating meat 16 years ago!

Here’s my statement on today’s violence at the Capitol.

Words have consequences, especially the words of a president and his allies. Today those consequences include violent rioters attacking our Capitol to overthrow the American democratic process. This must end, and democracy must prevail.

This is a colossal failure for The Secret Service, The Mayor of D.C., and the Washington D.C and Capitol Police. If this can happen today (Jan 6), what do you think could happen on Inauguration Day (Jan 20) just TWO WEEKS from today?

Some people can just wake up and physically see things clearly. I can't even fathom having 20/20 eyesight without corrective lenses... 👓 glasses since 6 or 7 (?), contacts since 11
