We are thrilled to announce that our grant proposal for the NIH Fogarty D43 program, focusing on brain health in Colombia, has been selected for funding. This grant will bolster our PhD program in Neuroscience at @MedicinaPUJ and @UniJaveriana, enhancing research on brain health within the country. The funding will empower Colombian researchers to investigate the interactions between brain health and overall mental and physical well-being, in line with the principles of the Global Brain Health Institute @GBHI_Fellows. Additionally, the grant will provide seed funding for early-career researchers and strengthen existing research networks in Colombia, thereby facilitating the application of this knowledge to public health initiatives that will benefit our community. @MincienciasCo @MinSaludCol @HUSI_Investiga
