As long as Virat is opening we are not winning any games against top teams. His game is not suited to the modern era of t20 cricket. Its high time we open with Bethell and Salt.

@akakrcb6 Bowling was bad. But Virat approach is also one of the main reason. If u see 2021,22,and 24 his approach in Knockouts were the reason we were not able to put defendable score. Even In 2025 final he scored 43 runs in 35 balls with 120 SR. Virat has to change his approach.

Seeing all injuries now nothing gonna top RCB 2023. Rajat Patidar (whole season ) Hazlewood (whole season ) Will Jacks ( whole season ) Reece Topley (shoulder injury first match ) David Willey ( Mid season injury ruled out whole season ) Hasaranga (joined late missed starting matches and then niggle end of the season missed matches ) Still got knocked out in the final match, qualifying to the playoffs.

Dropping Bethell for What ? Let Virat play as Impact sub. This is my top 4 os players Salt Bethell Shepherd Tim david No need of any os bowlers until Hazlewood comes. Duffy has been leaking runs in recent times. And Thushara didn’t have much match practise recently.

No one is trying to diminish his legacy. He himself ruined his t20 legacy in the name of anchoring after collapse. Leave alone 2024 wc final he has been doing the same thing in ipl as well. This is not how t20 should be approached. The game is changing and he has to change.

Virat with no test career is getting clubbed with Sachin. Virat as batter failed in the most difficult format of cricket. No matter how many 100s he scores in flat home pitches he will always be below Sachin, Steve smith, and joe root.

captaincy parameter comes to the debate when player has not individually succeededid as much as their counterparts.... Saurav Ganguly was great captain but he was never mentioned alongside Sachin Tendulkar for being the greatest. Same is the case with Virat Kohli. @Saurav_viratian Virat starts well but once wicket falls he starts anchoring just like the Last year ipl final. That is not how t20 should be played. If he stills wants to do anchoring then he can come at no 3 and do anchor. Salt and bethell is the best combination for Rcb this year.
