It does make me wonder why some folks have kept going, while others reached a threshold where they began going elsewhere.

Remember when virtually every pavilion in EPCOT was a giant, multi-attraction adventure that took hours? They were so big that you needed a map! Some of that idea is still around today, but nowhere to the degree that the originals were.
